Transforming Lives and Making a Difference – Extraordinary individuals from the local community and around the world choose California State University, Northridge to pursue a wide range of professionally focused academic opportunities in fields that are as rewarding and inspiring as they are challenging.
The university offers a growing number of specialized graduate-degree and certificate programs that prepare working adults for careers in the fields of healthcare and public/social services. Currently, CSUN offers five such master’s degree programs through its Tseng College, which specializes in graduate, midcareer and international education.
In addition to its academic programs, CSUN is home to 18 clinical centers that prepare students to be at the forefront of practice by working under the direction of expert, licensed and certified faculty clinicians. These centers provide screenings, evaluations, assessments and diagnoses for a comprehensive array of impairments. Eleven centers focus on services that address the needs of persons with disabilities or those with special needs.
CSUN’s clinical centers also contribute to expanding the knowledge of the broader scientific community by conducting clinical research in collaboration with health professionals and facilitating real-world experiences for students.
