We are humbled to be chosen as LA’s FAVORITE Dog Rescue Group by Daily News readers. Our mission since 1997 to “save homeless animals and change peoples lives” remains unchanged as we save and change one life at a time and more than 5,000 so far.
The New Leash On Life ranch in Santa Clarita provides a healthy haven for rescued dogs during rehabilitation and our on-site training program ensures obedience and a more adoptable dog. Adopters can visit our dogs with family and their dogs and spend quality time with their future dog in a home environment, hiking, at the dog park or in the pool.
Our Therapy Dog Training program provides trained and AKC Certified Therapy Dogs for individuals experiencing physical, mental or emotional life challenges by utilizing mixed breed rescue dogs from local shelters instead of breeders.
