Easily one of the most historic pizza parlors in the Valley, Shakey’s Pizza on Reseda Boulevard in Northridge was opened in 1968 and has been run by the same owners (now the 2nd generation) ever since – these folks know pizza like nobody’s business. This particular Shakey’s is an old family friend to many Angelenos and so famous that immediately after the ’94 earthquake, it was searched out by reporters wanting to know “what’s shaking at Shakey’s!” We are happy to report that its legendary pizza and super-fun indoor-picnic kid-friendly atmosphere are going on their 3rd generation of customers!
