Bonnie and Jeff Abel bought their West Hills store in January of 2015.

Community involvement is so important. Prior to buying the store, I was on the Board of Family Rescue Center but quickly realized that owning your own business requires all your attention. I’m still involved with Family Rescue Center, but I also get to help a lot of other organizations such as the American Cancer Society and local schools (Haynes Charter, Calabasas High, Chaminade, Louisville, El Camino and many more!).

The best part about this business is being able to help others celebrate their special moments: birthdays, weddings, babies, retirements, graduations and all the occasions to celebrate life. I also LOVE the cakes. They are special and it’s wonderful to be able to share such a great product with my customers.
