In June, seven four-year-olds demonstrated a first grade reading level (and all the rest were reading at a kindergarten level), fifteen pre-kindergarteners were doing math at a first-grade level (the rest were doing kindergarten mathematics.) All wrote the alphabet from memory, could pen their name, say the Pledge of Allegiance (in English and sign language), knew the seven continents (and much more.) Many were accepted into the better private schools or magnet programs. Alumni can be found in gifted programs.
